The visuals of the film Amelie are so iconic that I wasn't stuck for inspiration for this one! I was keen to keep the green, red and gold aesthetic of the film, but to give it a simpler, more contemporary vibe. One of the things everyone remembers about the movie poster is Audrey Tautou's famous smile. We don't have an actress cast yet (it's little old me in the photos!), so I've tried to make the title smile instead. Amelie is a very loveable, sweet character, but she feels a bit distanced from the world, which is why I've put her sitting on the title, far above Paris.
