The Knowledge is a new stage adaptation of a 1970s movie about a group of men taking the London taxi exam, 'the knowledge'. I wanted to create something with a sense of fun and silliness, but also with a feeling of nostalgia. I enjoyed playing with the 1970s colour palette - who says you can't have green socks, purple flares and a red bike?!
